Ingredients
2½cupswater(600ml)
2pandan leaves(shredded and knotted)
1inchginger(peeled and crushed) (30g)
½cupgula melaka(shaved) (75g)
2smallsweet potatoes(peeled and cut into ¾ inch cubes) (1 lb/450g)
Instructions
Combine water, pandan leaves, ginger, shaved gula Melaka, and sweet potatoes in a medium saucepan. Bring syrup to a boil. Stir to dissolve sugar.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Turn off stove.
